Once our eye caught, what do we see ? The canvas reveals us a specific cartography. These are roads that Patrick Storhaye travels through, announces and recommends. Other are the earthes, the faces, the perfumes. The palette, from dark to warm, perfumes the reading of what they tell us. And they tell us overseas stories. Remind us overseas. Invite us to trice up the sails of our vessel and to recognise, may be at our neighbour’s window, the palm-grove desired since the profoundest of our childhood, or the black, right and bright, not the coffee one, but the one of the arm who planted it.
